The role involves analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Responsibilities include creating infrastructure in Kubernetes, deploying Docker images, designing and managing automated strategies for server storage infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS), and building infrastructure using Terraform. The engineer will develop automation scripts and tools, manage Docker images in OpenShift/AKS, and utilize virtualization technologies such as VMware ESX. Monitoring Azure services, creating dashboards with Graphana/Datadog, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance are key aspects. The role also involves integrating Github with Jenkins/ADO for CI/CD, participating in project assignments, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with application teams to optimize infrastructure solutions. Additional duties include integrating Azure Synapse pipelines with ITSM (Service Now), deploying automation tools like Ansible, and adhering to change management policies.
