Job summary

Coupa is seeking a Sr. Lead Platform DevOps Engineer to build self-service platforms that accelerate cloud operations and enable scalable service delivery across AWS and Azure.  You will partner with multiple platform teams to guide architecture, security, and reliability for hundreds of services.

You will drive long-term roadmaps, own key products, and manage technical debt while leading a distributed, global team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on platform engineering experience using Go, Python, Java or Ruby.
• 4+ years in a lead engineering role with distributed teams located across the globe.
• Experience with data platforms (Elasticsearch, Kafka), queueing services, identity services, integrations and containerization.
• Experience building and running modern cloud apps on AWS/Azure/GCP at scale.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own, build and run a suite of platforms delivering APIs, integrations, security, messaging, and containers.
• Build a multi-region, multi-cloud platform for secure service delivery across hundreds of services on AWS & Azure.
• Lead to provide technical guidance and direction for several platform engineering teams.
• Develop and drive long-term roadmaps aligned with business priorities with product management.
• Take full ownership of products and manage technical debt with high-quality features.
