Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior DevOps leader to guide a growing team across cloud automation, infrastructure, and platform tooling. You will own security integration, incident management, and collaboration with engineering and security leadership to align IT investments with business priorities.

The role emphasizes AI-driven workflow improvements, scalable multi-cloud operations, and cost-efficient cloud management, with a hybrid on-site requirement in Maine region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• 7+ years in people management roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with public clouds and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of DevOps engineers.
• Own the roadmap for cloud automation, cloud infrastructure, and platform tooling.
• Drive infrastructure security practices including access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Advance the DevOps team’s use of AI in workflows to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Evaluate and introduce tools and platform advancements for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Manage incident response processes and drive root-cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Partner with product engineering, security, and IT leadership to align infrastructure investments with business priorities.
• Manage vendors and cloud costs and ensure secure use of cloud resources.
• Lead cloud infrastructure, security, platform engineering, and CI/CD strategy and execution.
