Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior cloud architect to design and operate AI-enabled capabilities across cloud engineering products in a production environment. You will deploy AI features for landing zones and migration tooling, and you will lead the development of MCP servers, adapters, and platform APIs.

The role requires hands-on experience with major cloud providers, Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD, plus leadership to mentor teams and drive architecture standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years in architecture/design.
• Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance from posting locations.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Hands-on experience building and operating production cloud platforms.
• Ability to author infrastructure as code, APIs, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, integrate, and operate AI-enabled capabilities across cloud engineering products.
• Deploy AI-enabled capabilities for account vending, landing zones, and migration tooling.
• Build and maintain MCP servers, adapters, and cloud platform APIs and data services.
• Automate developer onboarding, guardrail validation, and environment setup.
• Lead architecture strategy, review reference implementations, and mentor engineers.
