Job summary

Jobtailor seeks aSenior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to own complex cloud infrastructure and platform work, lead troubleshooting of production and pre-production issues, and drive CI/CD and infrastructure as code improvements at scale.

You will organize architecture discussions, mentor junior engineers, participate in on-call rotation, and partner across Technology to translate requirements into secure, scalable decisions while defining runbooks and guardrails.

Qualifications

• Advanced AWS and security controls required.
• Design and operate CI/CD at team scale.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting for automation.
• Excellent cross-team communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Independently own complex cloud infrastructure and platform work
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex production and pre-production issues
• Organize and influence infrastructure and platform architecture design discussions
• Lead CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code improvements with minimal oversight
• Drive proactive reliability work, incident prevention, and resilience hardening
• Partner across Technology to translate requirements into secure, scalable architecture decisions
• Define and improve operational standards, runbooks, and engineering guardrails
• Provide technical mentorship and informal leadership to associate and mid-level engineers
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead response for high-impact incidents
• Contribute to continuous delivery, total quality management, knowledge sharing, career advancement, empowerment, innovation, and collective ownership
