CVS Health's Digital Developer Experience team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer - Developer Tooling in Illinois. You will lead delivery automation and mentor engineers, contributing to end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and platform tooling to improve reliability and developer experience.

You will collaborate across teams to design scalable backend services using Java, Go, Python, or Node.js, build automation, and address security vulnerabilities with automated tests.

Qualifications

5+ years of information technology experience.
3+ years hands-on experience with backend programming stacks (Java, Golang, Python, Node.js).
3+ years writing infrastructure as code to deploy microservice infrastructure.
3+ years creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with reusable code.
2+ years standing up/developing backend applications.
2+ years cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).
3+ years agile development experience.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery automation and tooling within Platform Enablement.
Mentor engineers with diverse technical backgrounds to accelerate delivery.
Collaborate across teams to drive reliable CI/CD and platform tooling.
