Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to own end-to-end application development, deployment, observability, and delivery. You will collaborate with engineers to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthtech environment.

The role requires 5+ years of full-stack experience, Linux/AIX proficiency, and familiarity with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker and Git. Healthcare domain experience is a plus; bachelor’s degree or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software engineering (Technical Lead and Developer).
Strong proficiency in mid-range operating systems (Linux, AIX).
Deep understanding of non-functional requirements (SLAs, latency, real-time/near–real-time processing, multithreading) with the ability to design systems that meet them.
5+ years of full-stack development experience.
5+ years of experience with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender.
Familiarity with DevOps ecosystems including Kubernetes, Jenkins, Octopus, Docker, and Git.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Responsibilities

End-to-end application development & delivery including production deployment, application operationalization, and observability.
Collaborate with other engineers in planning, prioritizing and performing assigned tasks within deadlines.
