Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to transform our infrastructure team into a full-scale platform automation function. You will blend hands-on SRE with AI-driven automation and container orchestration as the central pillar of our modernization.

Responsibilities include building, deploying, and operating containerized workloads at scale, owning the Kubernetes platform, and designing agentic AI systems in production while coordinating with security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SRE/sysadmin with Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• Strong Linux fundamentals with OS/network/app troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, agent orchestration, and production AI pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate containerized workloads at scale (Docker Swarm to Kubernetes).
• Own and evolve Kubernetes platform, including IaC and service resilience.
• Design and run agentic AI systems in production, with RAG pipelines and prompt engineering.
• Implement hybrid model strategies with on-prem LLMs and frontier models.
• Partner with engineering, security, and compliance for observability and defensibility.
• Mentor engineers on Linux, containers, and automation practices.
