Qualifications

• Bachelors + 8 years of related experience or higher degrees as alternatives.
• Fluency in Go and/or Python for large-scale systems.
• Experience designing resilient, distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure/GovCloud).
• Experience with configuration/infrastructure as code tools (Puppet/Terraform/Ansible) at scale.
• Experience leading major technical initiatives beyond own team.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term architecture and investments for ACM configuration platform.
• Lead complex projects across configuration delivery, DR, fleet management, and reliability.
• Establish standards for code quality, observability, and ops excellence.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and coaching.
• Own production reliability and design systems to reduce operational burden.
