Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. seeks a hands-on Software Engineer to own the software strategy, architecture, and execution for the Kinexis Smart Building Automation platform.

You will lead a cross‑functional team spanning software, firmware, device connectivity, cloud services, data pipelines, and user applications. You will guide real-time control, sensor fusion, energy optimization, and scalable building automation logic, partnering with hardware and product teams to deliver secure, reliable

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience; 5+ years in a senior technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture of BAS platform ecosystem (software, embedded firmware, device protocols, cloud services).
Lead development of mission-critical firmware for controllers, sensors, and power modules.
Ensure CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and performance monitoring across layers.
Collaborate with hardware, product, QA, and field teams to deliver reliable, secure solutions.
