The role focuses on end-to-end architecture, hands-on prototyping, and guiding multiple engineering teams toward scalable, secure solutions in a hybrid San Diego environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural standards with the Principal Architect, and partner with product leads to align designs with business goals

Qualifications

• Extensive architecture design experience across multiple teams.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Ability to balance speed and quality in product development.
• Healthcare domain or regulated environments experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of large-scale, cross-team platform capabilities from ideation to release.
• Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, reliability, security, observability, cost) are met.
• Break designs into increments teams can ship with product and engineering managers.
• Present and defend architectures to stakeholders and customers.
