Job summary

Faro Health is seeking seasoned software professionals to join a fast-paced, hybrid team in San Diego. You will deliver features end-to-end across frontend and backend, mentor juniors, and contribute to AI-powered trial design tools.

A strong foundation in TypeScript or Python, React, Node.js, and cloud experience is required. The role emphasizes a customer-centric mindset, collaboration, and the ability to adapt in a growth-oriented startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering scalable software products with SaaS architectures.
• Understanding of microservice architecture and RESTful Services.
• Strong skills in TypeScript or Python, with willingness to learn both.
• Experience with React, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Docker.
• Experience designing relational schemas on PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with cloud providers like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Features End-to-End: Develop and ship well-structured features with minimal supervision.
• Hands-On Problem Solving: Solve moderately complex technical problems across the stack.
• System Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of core system components and enhancements across services.
• Uphold Engineering Standards: Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Grow Your Toolkit: Learn new technologies and take on different assignments; proficient in one primary language (TypeScript or Python) and aim to master both.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Deliver a great user experience by understanding customer needs.
• Exposure to AI-powered feature development is a plus.
