Cox Automotive’s CAI Architecture Team leads the architectural direction for the Retail lifecycle platforms, spanning inventory, deal initiation, validation, and service across Cox Automotive products in Atlanta. The Lead Architect provides technical leadership to advance modernization, solution architecture, and AI initiatives.

The role focuses on shaping epics, aligning teams to target architecture, and producing clear architectural artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant field; 6+ years in related roles.
• Ability to align stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Strong analytical and deep technical dive capabilities.
• Broad architectural knowledge across app, integration, and platform domains.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architectural vision translating priorities into technical direction.
• Drive solution design from discovery to delivery, shaping epics and risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and product to prioritise investments and maintain platform health.
• Reduce technical debt in deal initiation surface and legacy integrations.
• Champion common tenancy, user management, and AWS-native patterns.
