Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks a Senior Manager to lead Digital Integration & Platform. You will own the API layer, microservices platform, and event streaming across AllianzLife.com, with strong focus on cloud-native AWS architecture and secure integrations.

You will guide a cross-functional team, ensure platform reliability, API governance, and a rapid, scalable velocity for multiple domains, partnering with senior leaders in digital modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in platform, integration, or backend engineering with leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot microservices and AWS cloud-native services.
• Experience with API gateway management, REST API design standards, and OAuth2/JWT authentication in production.

Responsibilities

• Own the full API layer design, development, versioning, deprecation, and contract governance across domains.
• Lead the engineering and operations of Java/Spring Boot microservices powering AllianzLife.com.
• Own Kafka event streaming setup and governance, including schemas and topic management.
• Own cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (ECS/EKS, IAM, networking) and CI/CD pipelines.
