Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in cloud-based roles with architecture, deployment and support responsibilities.
• Experience designing, deploying and supporting cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with API methods for systems integrations and data exchange.
• Knowledge of security considerations in cloud-based software solutions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and related tools (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Familiarity with canary deployments and API technologies (JSON, REST, Swagger, Postman).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve platform and API solutions powering connected vehicle experiences.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver scalable, secure services.
• Occasionally serve as architect, hands-on developer, or tech lead as needed.
• Develop Java SpringBoot APIs on Google Cloud Platform and microservices.
• Apply TDD, CI/CD and Kanban in the software lifecycle.
• Refactor APIs for simplicity and efficiency; ensure security and reliability.
• Work with DevOps tools to deploy, monitor, and manage software.
• Stay current with tech direction and uphold customer-centric approach.
