Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (Plastics Tooling) to lead tooling and equipment programs for injection molding, driving design for manufacturability and supplier integration.

You will mentor cross-functional teams, define technical specs, manage capital projects, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety, quality and cost goals across the Center of Excellence for plastics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in injection molding or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with large tonnage injection molding equipment and automation.
• Mold/equipment procurement experience and project management in a technical environment.
• Gated PM experience in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling and equipment programs for injection molds, presses and automation.
• Develop technical specs and ensure timely delivery of molds and equipment.
• Manage capital spending, timelines, and KPI reporting for projects.
• Mentor Senior AME members and coordinate with COE for plastics.
• Drive DFx through collaboration with CAE experts and suppliers.
