GE Appliances is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Plastics in Louisville, KY to drive tooling and equipment project activities, including qualification, maintenance documentation, and mold design reviews. You will work with the COE to ensure timely delivery of in-house molded products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in injection molding or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Project Management in a technical cross-functional manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and design reviews for injection molds, injection molding presses and associated automation equipment
• Support the GE Appliances Business Change Request (BCR) process
• Assist Senior/Principle AME to develop technical specifications to ensure accurate and timely delivery of associated molds/equipment
• Support Equipment Qualification projects in Oracle Agile, helping to ensure deliverable dates and project status remain accurate and up to date
• Support Senior/Principle AMEs in reporting on capital spending, project timeline/delivery status and other KPI related aspects of a project
