GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Plastics in Louisville, KY. You will guide tooling and equipment projects from concept through qualification, mentor junior AMEs, and act as a technical liaison for the COE the internal plastics supplier for in-house molded products.

The role requires 5+ years in injection molding or manufacturing engineering, strong project management, and expertise with molding equipment, CAE tools, and robotics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in injection molding or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with injection molding equipment and automation.
• Equipment procurement experience (quoting, sourcing, implementation).
• Cross-functional project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide COE guidance for processes, design reviews, and equipment.
• Lead multiple projects and manage timelines and milestones.
• Develop specifications to ensure timely delivery of molds/equipment.
• Report on capital spending and KPIs across projects.
• Lead RFQ process and supplier selection for cost and delivery.
