Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Plastic Surgery Sales Representative to support the Mentor portfolio across the Los Angeles territory.

You will drive sales to surgeons and healthcare facilities, demonstrate product benefits, and build long-term relationships while meeting quarterly targets. This role emphasizes clinical knowledge, consultative selling, and adherence to regulatory standards in a fast-paced medical devices environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-6 years total work experience.
• Surgical sales experience preferred.
• Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical, surgical techniques and medical terminology preferred.
• Typically oversees $1.5M to $3.5M in annual sales YOY, demonstrating sustained performance 3 out of 4 years.
• Minimum of 4 years of outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Understands and demonstrates proper surgical use of our products to physicians.
• Handles customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology.
• Maintains and expands current accounts, builds new accounts, develops strong customer relationships, and meets sales quotas for our products.
• Executes the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and persuasive; and which leads the customer to action.
• Meets productivity goals across product portfolio.
• Proficiency of market knowledge; technical fluency across Mentor Portfolio and competitive product portfolios; knowledge of breast anatomy; demonstrates an expertise in supporting studies/material.
