Qualifications

• Current Stationary Engineer license or certification issued by the State of Colorado.
• 10+ years’ experience operating and maintaining mechanical utility plants.
• Experience directing and leading facility maintenance teams.
• Experience working with emergency generator systems and electrical distribution relevant to plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain chiller plants and chilled water distribution.
• Operate generator plants and transfer switches for backup power.
• Lead personnel in Utility Plants and Utility Rooms.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, pumps, and piping.
• Coordinate outages and safety/compliance with standards.
• Maintain maintenance records and logs.
• Troubleshoot systems and implement corrective actions.
• Test emergency generation systems and load banks.
• Ensure codes, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support capital projects and life-cycle planning.
• Assist inventory control for spare parts.
• Occasional schedule flexibility for emergencies.
