Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Stationary Operations Engineer to oversee and maintain stationary equipment in a mission-critical facility.

You will operate boilers, HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and related plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document all activities in the CMMS. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 10+ years of facilities maintenance, U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Citizenship and security eligibility for access to classified information; ability to obtain/maintain HSPD & Secret, preferred Active.
• Experience operating central utility plants and institutional mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, and other stationary equipment.
• Respond to service calls, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance per site plans and company standards.
• Document inspections, maintenance, repairs, and replacements in CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for stationary equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
