Actus Nutrition in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Plant Manager to direct operations at the Adell facility, overseeing production, quality, safety, inventory, and maintenance. You will lead cost-effective manufacturing plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10 years of management experience in a food-grade operation.
• Background in packaging facility.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of plant operation procedures and business system software applications.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop key manufacturing plans and programs toward budgeted unit cost and output objectives.
• Coordinate activities of all manufacturing areas to meet quality and production goals.
• Sustain production capacity aligned with sales and minimize inventory levels.
• Develop and track annual operating budget for the plant.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and food-grade standards.
• Maintain and improve plant assets and implement capital improvements.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead personnel with a focus on safety and quality.
• Implement and manage safety and regulatory programs.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and QA to ensure raw material specs are met.
• Assist QA in developing new processes and optimizing current ones.
• Manage inventory of off-spec materials and rework as needed.
• Maintain OEE data and drive world-class performance.
• Maintain formulation data and history files for products.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and communicate with authorities.
• Develop community relations around the plant.
