Job summary

STELLA & CHEWY'S LLC is seeking an Operations Team Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing across the facility, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and consistent execution of the production plan. You will lead Production Team Managers and Supervisors, drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people, and partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Scheduling, Supply Chain, HR, and CI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing/operations experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of food safety, GMPs, sanitation in food manufacturing.
• Experience in production planning, labor management, and fast-paced execution.
• Lean, 5S, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people targets.
• Coach and develop Production Team Managers and Supervisors; set performance expectations.
• Establish operating rhythm with daily production reviews and weekly performance reviews.
• Review schedules, staffing, and resources; adjust to meet targets.
• Monitor KPIs and drive recovery actions.
• Lead continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and SOP development.
• Collaborate with Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Scheduling, Supply Chain, HR, and CI to remove obstacles.
• Ensure GMPs, food-safety requirements, and plant systems compliance.
• Support plant projects and act as backup to Director of Operations.
