Job summary

Stella & Chewy's is seeking an Operations Team Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing across our Wisconsin facility. You will guide 3 Production Team Managers and up to 20 Supervisors, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of the production plan, while meeting safety, quality, and cost targets.

You will partner with Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Scheduling, Supply Chain, HR, and CI to remove barriers, develop leaders, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of food safety, GMPs, sanitation, and regulatory requirements in food manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead production planning, labor management, performance management, and fast-paced execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using operational data.
• Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution of production plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop Production Team Managers and Supervisors; establish clear expectations and accountability.
• Establish operating rhythms with daily reviews, shift handoffs, and weekly performance reviews.
• Review schedules, staffing, WIP, equipment availability, and priorities; adjust labor and resources to meet targets.
• Monitor KPIs like schedule attainment, labor productivity, downtime, waste, and quality; drive recovery actions.
• Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, standard work, SOP development and corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Scheduling, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, HR, and CI to resolve barriers and ensure timely closure.
• Ensure GMPs and food-safety compliance; support plant projects and readiness activities.
• Serve as backup to the Director of Operations as needed.
