Job summary

Ghirardelli in San Leandro is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to drive safety, quality and efficiency on the production lines. You will coach teams, enforce GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards, and partner with the Safety Manager to meet goals.

You will lead continuous improvement, review line performance, operate SAP as a super user, manage training, and ensure KPI targets are met while supporting union environments and cross-shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, food science or manufacturing related discipline.
• 1-2 years direct supervisory experience, ideally in a union environment.
• Proven knowledge and execution of Lean Manufacturing Practices.
• Strong computer literacy in MS Office and integrated systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communications; strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, quality and efficiency objectives for production lines.
• Enforce GMP, HACCP, sanitation and housekeeping standards.
• Coach and manage staff performance; conduct line audits and KPI reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement through in-house tools and cost/quality actions.
• Provide SAP super user support and report production achievements.
• Collaborate with Safety Manager and Training staff; support union workforce.
