Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to drive department-wide initiatives that improve safety, quality, and efficiency on production lines. The role models performance, coaches staff, and champions Ghirardelli’s quality systems.

The position requires leading teams, enforcing GMP and safety standards, and coordinating with the Safety Manager to meet goals. Experience in chocolate manufacturing and SAP would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and safety regulations.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate staff to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production teams to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Ensure proper training of staff in safety procedures and accident prevention.
• Enforce GMP and safety rules and manage performance when applicable.
• Drive continuous improvement using in-house tools and root-cause analysis to prevent defects.
• Monitor production plans, material flow, and OEE/TE metrics.
• Provide SAP super-user support across shifts and departments.
