PTC in Bedford Park, IL seeks a seasoned Plant/Production leader to oversee production planning, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, shipping and receiving. You will drive safety, productivity and continuous improvement across the plant, reporting to the Regional General Manager.

The role requires 10+ years in a similar occupation, strong leadership, and the ability to direct multiple department managers while ensuring cost control and on-time delivery. This is a daylight, on-site position.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Management or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar relevant occupation.
• Five direct reports: Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, Mill Dept Manager, Finishing Manager, Office Administrator.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct and coordinate all areas of production planning, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, shipping and receiving.
• Ensure safety, quality and productivity for all plant personnel and visitors.
• Apply continuous improvement philosophies to plant production and maintenance.
• Direct Department Managers to maximize effectiveness in meeting customer quality and delivery.
• Develop training for managers and shop personnel to improve product quality and value.
• Maintain staffing levels and supervise union relations per contract.
• Promote safety practices and enforce safety rules; review incident reports and implement preventive actions.
• Establish department operating budgets for shipping and related activities.
