Job summary

PTC Middletown, OH is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee the assigned shift with focus on safety, quality, and production. You will lead 25–60 direct reports, enforce EEOC and OSHA standards, and drive efficient operations.

You will monitor production, maintain equipment readiness, report hazards, and collaborate with the Operations Manager and Plant Manager. The role requires a High School Diploma and 5 years of manufacturing experience, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Direct Reports: 25-60 employees.
• Supervise plant operations, safety, quality and production.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and enforce safety rules and OSHA standards.
• Report safety hazards to EHS coordinator and management.
• Investigate and file accident reports and notify relevant personnel.
• Own quality assurance and production levels for the shift.
• Supervise the assigned work shift and ensure efficient operation.
• Maintain discipline, training, safety and welfare of employees.
• Train staff and optimize production methods for efficiency.
• Monitor manpower to maximize pounds per labor hour.
• Keep material, tooling, and gauges ready for the job.
