Job summary

PTC, a leading manufacturer in Bedford Park, IL, is seeking a Plant Engineer to support engineering and production across plant processes. You will identify root causes, drive solutions, and document findings to expand technical libraries.

Responsibilities include maintaining asset documentation and partnering with Operations, Maintenance and Quality. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and at least three years of industrial experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program is required
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely, quickly and logically solve mechanical and/or electrical problems, or mobilize resources to do so.
• Identify root causes of process quality/equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Produce and maintain asset documentation (spec sheets, manuals, BOMs, drawings).
• Lead small to medium sized projects from proposal to closing, with emphasis on documentation and on-time delivery.
