Job summary

OBE is seeking a Senior Plant Manager to own day-to-day operations across two York-area facilities, including a large manufacturing plant and a smaller warehousing site with CNC and packaging operations. This engineer-to-order environment requires hands-on leadership and deep lean disciplines to optimize safety, quality and OEE.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of managerial experience in manufacturing, including multiple disciplines.
• Plant Manager or similar leadership role at a large, complex facility.
• Budgeting, quality assurance, and equipment troubleshooting experience.
• Lean manufacturing execution with real-time shop-floor improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own full plant operations across York facilities: manufacturing, warehousing, CNC, packaging.
• Lead, mentor and develop managers and supervisors across disciplines.
• Partner with estimating, project management and customer service to meet lead times.
• Champion daily lean/continuous-improvement execution on the shop floor.
• Lead plant optimization and automation transformation initiatives including robotics & controls.
• Drive projects to reduce downtime, improve throughput and OEE.
• Manage capital projects from business case through implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering & IT to integrate MES/ERP systems and real-time reporting.
• Build relationships with sales and customers to align on deadlines and expectations.
• Guide teams through technology-driven organizational change as the plant grows.
