Job summary
Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Plant Manager to lead Coral Architectural Products (CAP) from the ground floor, overseeing manufacturing, safety, quality and operational excellence as the facility establishes its own identity.
You will mentor front‑end teams and production supervisors, deliver production schedules for CAP and the OBE lines, drive continuous improvement, automation initiatives and real‑time data reporting.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Budgeting, quality assurance and equipment troubleshooting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or comparable on-the-job experience.
Responsibilities
- Full plant operations for CAP, including manufacturing, safety, quality and operational excellence.
- Mentorship of front-end teams and production supervisors; build a strong succession bench.
- Stabilization of the refurbished CAP door production line and raise product standards.
- Deliver production schedules across CAP and the OBE product lines.
- Collaborate with Coral Glass plant leadership due to shared staff and proximity.
- Lead plant optimization and automation initiatives with new technology and control systems.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and increase OEE.
- Lead capital projects from business case to implementation; scale operations.
- Integrate MES/ERP systems, data analytics, and real-time reporting into daily decisions.
