Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or engineering.
• 5+ years in a leadership role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with fiberglass and plastic molding is a plus.
• Proven track record of developing, leading and maintaining a continuous improvement mindset at the plant.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, lean manufacturing principles, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work with computer as necessary (Microsoft Office, ERP Systems)
• Ability to lead and direct other individuals and work with other group leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations, supervise staff and ensure safety standards are met.
• Oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements with Production Manager and Engineering.
• Foster customer service and proactive communication across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement systems, policies and procedures for a cost-effective manufacturing organization.
• Hire, train, and retain operations staff and maintain a tour-ready workplace.
• Monitor KPIs and use data to drive decisions.
• Apply lean manufacturing to minimize waste and optimize processes.
• Oversee molding processes and drive quality improvements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
