Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations from Grand Forks, ND. You will oversee production, quality, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse functions to drive safety, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing operations and 5+ years leading teams, with experience in fabrication, machining, welding, and engineered-to-order processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Experience in fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, paint, or engineered-to-order manufacturing preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and production activities
• Oversee production, quality, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams
• Develop and coach supervisors, managers, and production employees
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and productivity
• Identify production constraints and implement solutions to improve efficiency
• Improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and standard work
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and operational data to support decision‑making
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to improve results
• Monitor key performance metrics including safety, delivery, productivity, and quality
