Job summary

LGI foundation seeks a seasoned Plant Operations Leader to manage daily production at our facility, directing production schedules and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient output of high-quality products. You will implement policies, oversee purchasing, and drive safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has extensive process-manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage complex operations while upholding food safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in business/management/science/engineering or related field.
• Eight years in process manufacturing required.
• Minimum five years of leadership/management experience.
• Food or feed industry experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production schedule and lead daily plant production meetings.
• Coordinate production across departments to meet schedules.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for plant operations.
• Oversee purchasing of materials to meet timelines.
• Ensure food safety and quality policies are followed.
• Lead safety training and champion continuous improvement.
• Manage personnel including hiring, training, and performance.
• Monitor budgets and prepare weekly reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain sanitation.
