Job summary

LGI's foundation, headquartered in Iowa, seeks a Production Lead to oversee daily operations in a food processing setting. You will analyze production objectives, schedule operators, and ensure safety and quality compliance across shifts.

You will troubleshoot equipment, drive efficiency, maintain SOPs, and coordinate with maintenance and supervisors while generating daily production reports. This role requires strong teamwork and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a food processing environment required.
• Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions in equipment and perform repairs.
• Knowledge of use of forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, forecast and plan production objectives.
• If required by site, schedule production operators and assign maintenance work orders.
• Coordinate production area workflow including unloading, blending and packaging.
• Troubleshoot the production process and coordinate outside repairs as needed.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures and ensure food safety compliance.
• Complete daily reports and assist supervision as needed.
