Job summary

Our client in Anderson, SC seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the site maintenance function, ensuring safe and reliable operation of production equipment, utilities, and facilities. You will drive uptime, OEE, and continuous improvement across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, while managing budget, spare parts, and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Proven maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience with plastics, blow molding, injection molding, or automotive manufacturing is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
• Experience with CMMS, maintenance planning, and work-order management.
• Demonstrated ability to improve equipment reliability, uptime, MTBF/MTTR, and planned maintenance compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, spare parts inventory, contractors, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team with clear performance goals and succession plans.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Plan, schedule, and execute work orders via CMMS.
• Monitor uptime, OEE, MTBF/MTTR, and maintenance compliance metrics.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate annual maintenance plans and shutdown activities.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment, utilities, HVAC, and building infrastructure.
• Support automation upgrades and Industry 4.0 initiatives where appropriate.
• Participate in capital projects from evaluation to commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
