Job summary

Human Capital Ventures seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at its Anderson, South Carolina facility. You will oversee Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in blow-molding, injection-molding, plastics, or automotive sectors.
• Strong knowledge of automotive/manufacturing quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Experience leading multiple operations functions (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Scheduling, Continuous Improvement).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize utilization of personnel, equipment, materials, and capital to maximize performance.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other improvement initiatives throughout the operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, minimize downtime, and enhance quality.
• Lead capital projects and support procurement, installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment.
• Establish and monitor key operating metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, IATF).
• Manage departmental budgets and control labor, materials, maintenance, and capital costs.
• Collaborate with HR, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, and external vendors.
• Develop cross-functional teams and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Align operational strategies with broader business objectives and growth plans.
