Job summary

FPL Food, LLC in Augusta, GA seeks a Maintenance Manager to provide plant-wide leadership for maintenance operations at the Augusta facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of slaughter and fabrication equipment, refrigeration, rendering, utilities, wastewater systems, and facility infrastructure.

This role leads maintenance employees, preventive maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and capital projects; partners with Operations, Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field required.
• Minimum of five years of maintenance management or supervisory experience in food processing or meat processing.
• Experience in beef slaughter or meat-processing facility strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-wide leadership for maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs, emergency repairs, work orders, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Sanitation, and Engineering to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance.
