Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field required.
• Three+ years as a Safety Manager in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience in meat processing/food manufacturing preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry and CPR/First Aid preferred.
• CSP/ASP or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and programs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and regulatory updates across the facility.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Lead investigations of injuries and incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA records and training documentation.
• Coordinate safety training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Oversee safety and security operations and emergency procedures.
