Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy-duty maintenance, preferably aggregates.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• MSHA/OSHA safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate plant equipment to improve availability and yield.
• Identify trends to address systemic maintenance needs.
• Work with vendors to procure maintenance support.
• Maintain maintenance records in company systems.
• Perform MSHA pre-shift safety inspections.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and production.
• Repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and screens to minimize downtime.
• Operate cranes, man-lifts, welding tools as needed.
• Fabricate and repair processing and mobile equipment.
• Ensure backlog reviews with supervisor/plant manager.
• Complete paperwork to stay compliant with Martin Marietta standards.
• Train and coach others on maintenance best practices.
