Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead Person to guide a small team of technicians and drive maintenance and reliability at our aggregate processing plants.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, equipment diagnostics, and fabrication work while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include evaluating equipment, leading maintenance projects, coordinating with vendors, and reporting on capacity and yield.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience in Heavy‑Duty or Aggregate Plant Maintenance preferred.
• MSHA compliance knowledge and ability to apply safety regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate plant equipment to improve availability, capability, and yield.
• Lead maintenance projects and broad‑scale initiatives across the plant.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance support and lead vendor selection processes.
• Develop reports on plant capacity, yield, and maintenance activities for leadership.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Train and coach team members on maintenance best practices and safety.
