Job summary

Agropur in Jerome, Idaho is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities for facilities, utilities, and equipment, including automation. You will set goals, guide teams, and drive plant-wide maintenance and improvements in collaboration with Engineering and the Plant Manager.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, at least ten years of facility maintenance experience in food production, and five years in management, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
• Minimum ten years facility/maintenance experience in a food production environment.
• Minimum five years in a managerial role with food processing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance activities for facilities, utilities and equipment, including automation.
• Set goals, strategies and objectives for maintenance departments and team.
• Mentor maintenance, automation and projects staff to drive change.
• Collaborate with Engineering on major plant projects and improvements.
• Manage plant maintenance program with preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Ensure safe maintenance and economical operation of plant systems.
