Job summary

Adecco Portugal seeks a senior Plant Leader to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at Barberton, OH, with leadership extending to the Darien, WI and Monroeville, PA facilities. You will drive continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and operational excellence while ensuring safety, quality, cost, productivity, and delivery objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading plant operations and large teams.
• Experience with specialty materials or chemical manufacturing; union environments a plus.
• Strong grasp of process manufacturing, operational metrics, quality systems and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple sites (Barberton, OH; Darien, WI; Monroeville, PA).
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and operational excellence.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, productivity and on-time customer delivery meet targets.
• Lead teams in a multi-site, unionized manufacturing environment.
• Improve throughput, OEE, scrap, downtime and overall operational efficiency.
• Ensure plants meet customer specifications and delivery commitments.
• Maintain OSHA PSM, environmental compliance and ISO 9000 quality systems.
• Identify and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement opportunities.
