Job summary

Ameron Pole Products, a proud Arcosa subsidiary, seeks a Sr. Plant Accountant in Anniston, AL. You will lead financial decision-making, coordinate month-end closes, and partner with plant leadership on forecasting and budgeting.

The role requires GAAP expertise, 7+ years in manufacturing finance, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. CPA preferred; experience with Oracle and JobScope a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 7 years finance/accounting experience, with cost accounting in manufacturing preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Proficiency with Oracle, Power BI and JobScope; strong Excel/data modeling skills.
• GAAP knowledge and budgeting/forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Enhance reporting content and processes to meet business needs.
• Coordinate month-, quarter-, and year-end closing and reporting.
• Prepare detailed variance analyses and partner with leadership.
• Coordinate financial forecasts and prepare internal reports.
• Supervise accounts payable and invoicing activities.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
