Job summary

Primient, a plant-based ingredients leader in the US, seeks a Sr. Accountant, Operations Finance to lead plant-level financial close and analyses. You will partner with operations and engineering to drive cost control and reliable reporting.

The role requires strong manufacturing cost accounting knowledge, 5–10 years of experience, and proficiency with SAP, Planful, and Power BI. On-site in Loudon, TN with broad visibility to leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of financial analysis, FP&A, or budgeting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, variance analyses, and reporting.
• Manufacturing cost accounting and standard costing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant month-end close with journal entries and accruals.
• Perform variance analysis against plan and forecast; explain drivers to stakeholders.
• Analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, utilities) and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support annual budgets and monthly forecasts with variance explanations.
• Maintain standard costs, BOMs, and costing structures for reliable product costing.
• Prepare capex analyses for major projects and align with strategic goals.
• Assist in capital planning presentations for senior leadership.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reports as needed.
