Qualifications

At least 10 years experience as a plant or maintenance supervisor.
Technical ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems.
Read MEP drawings and understand 15Kv and 5Kv distribution systems.
Available on a 24-hour basis for equipment failure.
Train operators on equipment operation and safety.

Responsibilities

Train, supervise, and direct all Operating Plant and Preventative Maintenance personnel.
Perform all functions of an operator or operation engineer.
Requisition and approve all necessary supplies and repairs.
Create and maintain annual and monthly operating budgets for the Central Plant.
Request quotes and source multiple bids on large projects.
Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for maintenance work.
Ensure operation efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems campus-wide.
Oversee the daily duties of the Preventative Maintenance Department and maintain PM records.
