Job summary

Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance of HVAC, pumps, and air compressors. You will collaborate with other maintenance staff to keep exhibits running and respond to emergencies.

Candidate should have hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, with strong record-keeping and safety focus. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry is required.
• Ability to maintain detailed logs and records in English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, pumps and air compressors.
• Report major repairs to the manager for action.
• Maintain logs and inspection sheets in English; keep inventory as needed.
• Assist with assembly/disassembly of temporary exhibits and respond to emergencies.
