GGP Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Central Plant Engineer to oversee central plant operations, coordinate with outside vendors, and support the Operations Manager in maintaining shopping center HVAC systems for performance and safety.

The role involves supervising engineers and contractors, budgeting for operating costs, and coordinating landlord/tenant build-outs, with on-site responsibilities including after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 7 years of HVAC and facilities maintenance repair and management experience.
• Maintenance/HVAC license through City or State government.
• 2-year graduate of a Technical School or Certificate.
• Valid Driver's License, if applicable.
• 5 years of supervisory experience with strong leadership skills and ability to delegate.
• Computer proficiency in EMS, CMMS, email and internet search.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective program for maintaining the central plant and related equipment.
• Run preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist the Operations Manager in addressing center/building and equipment problems as needed.
• Evaluate major systems to ensure continuous maximum efficiency.
• Assist in establishing emergency procedures for fire, threats, power failure.
• Maintain and check operating logs daily for all equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with National Operations to ensure preventative maintenance plans exist.
