Qualifications

• 4+ years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering in an ABET-accredited program.
• Master's degree or PhD in engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 2 years of related engineering experience; PE license encouraged.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology acceptable if PE license is obtained.
• Alternate path: Bachelor’s in engineering (non-ABET) plus Master/PhD from ABET program; PE alignment confirmation.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering theory to solve well-defined problems or provide analysis with guidance from higher-level engineers.
• Assist higher-level engineers on portions of more complex problems and analyses.
• Coordinate work activities of others to resolve routine engineering tasks and prepare CAD drawings and maps under supervision.
• Develop understanding of standards, codes, and regulations relevant to the area of assignment.
• Prepare cost estimates and contribute to project planning and scheduling.
