Job summary

Guardian Energy Janesville seeks a Senior Plant Engineer to lead capital projects, process optimization, and plant reliability. You will collaborate with the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams to improve profitability, safety, and compliant performance.

The role requires strong data analysis, process controls knowledge, and experience with DCS systems, with responsibilities including establishing SOPs and leading plant shutdown planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• Five+ years of progressive engineering experience in continuous-process manufacturing.
• Experience leading capital or CI projects from concept through startup and verification.
• Knowledge of production processes, controls, equipment, and plant operating practices.
• Experience with DCS and improving process control and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and CI projects to improve yield, reliability, and reduce costs.
• Analyze plant data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Provide senior-level technical support for troubleshooting and debottlenecking.
• Coordinate with plant leadership and multi-functional teams to ensure safe operations.
